Who we are...

Sponsored by Marine Corps League Detachment #1155, we are Brentwood's longest running Cub Scout pack still in existence (formerly Pack 93).  Although most boys in the pack attend Ron Nunn and Loma Vista Elementary Schools, we welcome boys from any area school and faith.

What we do...

Along with two to three den meetings per month (made up of 6 - 10 boys), the pack (made up of several dens) meets the first Tuesday evening of every month during the school year at Vets Hall in Brentwood.  Other activities are scheduled throughout the year, such as a Pinewood Derby, and an overnite stay at places like the USS Hornet or Chabot Space Center.  Because Cub Scouts is a year-round program, optional outdoor summertime activities usually include things like Twilight (day) Camp, bike rodeo, family camping, hiking and Scout Days at the ballpark, plus much more!

Why Cub Scouts?

For over 100 years, Boy Scouts of America has been a foundation of development for millions of boys, helping them become men of strong values and character.  The cornerstone of that foundation is Cub Scouting, a year-round family program designed for boys who are in the first through fifth grade (or ages 7, 8, 9, and 10). Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting, which are:

Character Connections

Character Development
Spiritual Growth
Good Citizenship
Sportsmanship and Fitness
Family Understanding
Respectful Relationships
Personal Achievement
Friendly Service
Fun and Adventure
Preparation for Boy Scouts

Winter Sock Donation

Posted on Oct 19 2014 - 6:02pm

Each year Pack 1155 collects new pairs of socks to give to community organization in the area. We collect the socks that will be given to those who do not have or are unable to purchase during the cold season. If you can please donate some new socks for any age and bring them to the November or December Pack Meeting. We will have a box to collect them.

Uniform Inspectors Needed

Posted on Oct 19 2014 - 6:02pm

At our November Pack Meeting we will have our annual uniform inspection. We would like to have help from parents to come dressed in the uniform or work attire that they wear for their profession to help with the uniform inspection of the Scouts. It is very important for our Cub Scouts to see that we all have some type of uniform we must wear while working in any profession. This might be a business suit, nursing uniform or even a repairman. We all wear a uniform and it must look clean and professional. If you are able to help with the inspections please email

Wreath Sales Have Started

Posted on Oct 19 2014 - 6:02pm

The Pack 1155 annual fundraiser wreath sales have begun. At the October Pack meeting the information and the wreath sales packets were distributed to the Den's that were present. If you have not already received your packet of information please check with you Den Leader. We are looking forward to another great year of wreath sales as this is the biggest fundraiser for the year. The wreath sales packets are due at the November Pack meeting. You will turn them into you Den Leader. Any questions you can email

Our Pack meeting for November will be outdoors. We will meet at Veterans Park on 3841 Balfour Road. It could get a little cold so please bring a jacket. I would also recommend Parents bring a chair to sit in. This Pack Meeting will also be our annual Uniform Inspection. Please make sure to wear your complete Class A from the socks up. We also ask that there be no open toed shoes. More Information to come.
